Assigning Candidates to a Specific Hiring Manager

When multiple hiring managers are included for a position, it's common for a specific person to take the lead on certain candidates interviewing for the role. In PeopleFluent Recruiting, we make this easy to document and assign.

Hiring managers can assign themselves or another hiring manager by opening a candidate's profile and clicking the assign button  in the top right corner. If the individual you would like to assign is not listed in the drop-down field, you will need to assign that user as a hiring manager for the position.  For additional information, please see Creating and Configuring a New Position for additional information.

If there are multiple hiring managers for the position, and the candidate is assigned to a specific manager, then email notifications will not be triggered to the "non-assigned" managers if a candidate is reaching out to them. Managers will still have access to the communication, however.
